About the Teacher

Señorita Jaiden Turk

Hola y bienvenidos, my name is Señorita Turk and I am very excited say that this is my fourth year of teaching, and my second in the Deer Valley Unified School District.

My Spanish studies began in Middle School, and continued through High School at Boulder Creek. I attended Northern Arizona University, where I graduated with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude when I received my bachelor's degree in Secondary Education Spanish (BSEd Spanish). I am fortunate to have had the opportunity to study abroad in Costa Rica for a summer, where I attended la Universidad Fidélitas and lived with a host family.

When I am not teaching, I try to spend as much time with my family and friends as I can. I enjoy going to the gym, hiking, gardening, playing videogames, and playing with my pup!
