About the Teacher

Mrs. Julie Olson

I have been teaching for 27 years and have worked my entire career in the Deer Valley School District! This is my 5th year teaching at Mountain Ridge High School. I taught at Hillcrest Middle School before making the move to Mountain Ridge. I married my college sweetheart, Matt, who is a Phoenix Firefighter. We have two boys, Garrett and Tanner, who graduated from Mountain Ridge. Both of my boys go to college in Wisconsin and play college golf!  In my spare time, family is my focus and we enjoy spending time in the mountains, golfing, RZR rides, skiing and traveling!
