¡Hola a todos! Hello everyone! My name is Señora Godby, and I’m proud to be one of the Spanish teachers here at Mountain Ridge High School. I began my teaching career in 2008 and joined the Mountain Ridge community in the fall of 2021. I studied Spanish in college with the goal of becoming a high school Spanish teacher. I later earned my Master's in Secondary Education in 2012, and continued my studies with additional graduate coursework focused on Spanish instruction. I'm a big fan of Arizona sports, especially the Cardinals, Diamondbacks, and the Suns. At home, I have the world’s best black Labrador Retriever, who keeps me on my toes and is always ready to play. Teaching Spanish is truly my passion. Each day brings new challenges and opportunities, and I feel incredibly fortunate to work with my students as they grow in their language skills.
