I was born and raised in San Luis Rio Colorado Sonora in the country of México. However, in 1992, my husband and I decided to move to United States and I left my native country and moved to Arizona to start up our new life together. Though I moved away, I still travel to Mexico at least once a year and manage to keep in touch with my family and friends.
I studied K-12 grades and started my career in education in university in my home country but I could not finished. However, I continued my education here in Phoenix, and I graduated with honors from ASU in 2007. After receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Education in K-8 and 7-12 Spanish Endorsement, I managed to launch my career. I am a very proud mother of two wonderful grown up son and a daughter.
Over the years, I have worked in various schools, and I believe each one has helped me become a better teacher. While I have loved my previous jobs, I have been the most honored when I had the great opportunity to start working at Mountain Ridge High School. I am very excited for the upcoming school year and I am looking forward to meet all my students, colleagues, and community.
