Good morning, noon, or night! My name is Joshua Payne, and I am thrilled to be your English teacher.
I am extremely passionate about education from both sides of the fence. I am a perpetual student having earned five degrees in a number of different fields. I graduated from Northern Arizona University with my bachelor's in Criminal Justice and English. I then graduated from Arizona State University not once, not twice, but three times receiving a master's degree in Legal Studies, Forensic Psychology, and Journalism. I also hold an associate's degree in Music Theory, Composition, and Production from Full Sail University.
Outside of school, I am a professional musician and full-time father. I have three dogs, Illyana "Princess Beyoncé" Rasputin, Zazu, and Wallace, and one amazing (some might even say spectacular) kiddo. I am an avid comic book reader and collector, and I am always happy to talk about my favorite characters.
